公開徵集申請
温哥華書畫系列展是一個系列性的本地書畫展，為期一個多月，公開邀請本地書畫家及書畫團體按是次活動章程參展。
主辦方在過去數年都有和本地畫會及畫家舉辦畫展，但都是私人邀請及協商形式，這次將會首次公開邀請申請參加，主要考慮是能讓本地有意展出的書畫家都有機會 參加，其次是希望參展方預先有參展的計劃，包括畫展有主題和有概念，我們更強調展品不能是曾在國際畫廊展出過的，目的就是對賞畫公眾負責要展出新作品。
名稱：温哥華書畫系列展

日期：2018年3月24日(星期六) 至4月27日(星期五)
系列展展期：共五組五期，分別為：3月24日至3月30日、3月31日至4月6日、4月7日至4月13日、4月 14日至4月20日及4月21日至4月27日；每天中午十二時至下午五時。 每期展出一組書畫展、每期星期五下午二時至五時佈展、星期六開幕、星期日至星期四展出，星期五上午十一時至下午一時撤展。
地點：國際畫廊
目標：
a) 推展本地書畫之非謀利活動，以回饋藝術界
b) 提供展覽平台、介紹本地書畫家及推展其作品
c) 增進書畫家之友誼和交流及提高本地人對書畫的與趣。
資格：
a) 申請可以個人、小組或團体參展，
b) 必須為卑詩省內之團体或人士，
c) 必須按本次畫展章程規定在限期內提供資料及有關說明以供評審考慮。
展品 ：
a) 參展作品需為平面書畫作品，不限中西作品，不限媒体；
b) 凡厭惡性、不道德及政治性或具歧視或爭議性之作品，本會保留權利不予展出；
c) 展品須為原作，及未曾在國際畫廊展出過的；
d) 展品數目由40張至80張為合。
申請方法：
a) 填委申請表格 (附件)
b) 於12月10日前將表格提交本次展覽電郵址。並提供展品樣本 2-3張
c) 同意若獲接納，以抽簽方式定展期及次序；
d) 如獲接納，將在12月20日前接獲通知，並需在12月25日前支付參展費每組壹仟圓正，逾期不付作棄權論，由候補取代；
e) 參展資格不得轉讓，付款不參展，參展費不獲退還。
費用：
a) 畫廊免費提供場地及展出配件，包括開幕禮音響及座位，
b) 參展方負責自費布展、開幕禮、茶點、場刊、清潔及其他相關費用，
c) 在展覽期間，參展方需有一位代表駐場處理事宜，
d) 所有售畫安排由參展方自行處理與畫廊及主辦方無涉。
e) 每組參展者需付壹仟圓正參展費，作為支付整体廣告、宣傳、額外工作人員、清潔及什項支出。
評選方式：
a) 由主辦方成立五人評選委員會，包括：張俊傑館長、王健教授、李行簡教授、張恆老師及陳淑雄主席，各人獨立評分，以總分最多五組為參展組別。
b) 評選成員按參展組別展出之主題、展品樣本、團体或個別對温哥華書畫的熱誠、貢獻及其他因素作出評核，獨立判斷，
c) 所有結果及評分予以保密，以維持其判决不受干擾。
d) 大會之决定為最終之决定。
流程表：
a) 2017年12月10日將填好的申請表及樣本照片電郵傳到info@iagbc.ca,
b) 2017年12月20日獲接納的申請將會獲得通知，
c) 2017年12月25日簽約及付參展費每組壹仟元，
d) 策展人將會與所有獲接納的參展團體開會，訂定其他展出安排。

是次系列展將邀請傳媒合作贊助，並獲星島日報同意將定期將是次活動，參展之每期團体/個人、展品及活動概況予以報導，謹向星島日報致謝。
評審委員簡歷：
1. 陳淑雄先生（主席）：加中藝術橋協會主席、國際書畫藝術研究中心主席；曾策展：第一屆加中藝術橋大賽、當代實力派女畫家邀請展、「和諧的樂章」東亞藝術家 邀請展、「美麗的加拿大」慶祝加拿大立國150周年跨文化藝術展、「墨影傳情」慶祝中國香港特別行政區成立20周年藝術節及慶祝加拿大立國150周年北美 傑出華人油畫家邀請展等大型展出活動。
2.王健教授：西門菲沙大學終身教授、加拿大亞洲藝術協會會長、著名漢學家、加中藝術橋協會、國際書畫藝術研究中心及國際畫廊執行顧問。
3. 張俊傑教授：原國立台灣藝術教育館館長、國際書畫藝術研究中心及國際畫廊執行顧問。
4. 李行簡教授：中央美術學院榮休教授、國際書畫藝術研究中心及國際畫廊執行顧問。
5. 張恆先生：國際畫廊藝術總監、加中藝術橋協會執行顧問、國際書畫藝術研究中心執行委員。
Vancouver Serial Arts Exhibition 2018
Call to Artists for Submission of Application:
Objectives:
a) This is a non-profit making community event to promote arts and culture in Vancouver,
b) To provide a platform for introduction of good local artists and their artworks,
c) To promote the friendship and exchange between artists and foster the community’s interest in arts.
Name and Organiser:
a) Name: Vancouver Serial Arts Exhibition 2018
b) Organiser: The International Study and Research Arts Center and The Canada Chinese Arts Bridge Association
c) Host: International Arts Gallery
Date: 24th March (Sat) to 27th April (Fri) 2018 total of five weeks
There will be a total of five participating groups for five exhibition sessions: 24th March to 30th March; 31st March to 6th April; 7th April to 13th April; 14th to 20th April and 21st to 27th April. Time of Opening between 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm Monday through Sunday.
For each exhibition session, every Friday 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm – setting up of exhibition; Saturday – Opening Ceremony; Sunday to Thursday – exhibition;
Friday 11: 00 am to 1:00 pm – taking down paintings and moving out.
Venue of exhibition: International Arts Gallery, ideal number of paintings – between 40-80 pieces.
Qualification of applicants:
a) Applicants can be an art community, small group of artists and/or individual artists;
b) They should be local arts community or artists from British Columbia;
c) They shall observe all the rules and regulations and provide information for the panell of jurors.
Exhibits:
a) Must be two dimensional artworks, can be Chinese or non-Chinese artworks;
b) Organiser reserves the right to reject offensives, immoral, political or discriminative exhibits;
c) Exhibits must be original, and shall not have been exhibited in International Arts gallery;
Application Procedure:
1. Please fill in below application form
2. submit on or before 10th December 2017 together with 2-3 sample artworks,
3. Successful applicants will be notified by 20th December 2017 and shall confirm acceptance and pay administration fee of $1,000 on or before 25th December 2017.
4. The right is non transferable and non-refundable. If a party after payment but later decide not to proceed, the fee will not be refunded.
Fee:
1. All exhibition set up and accessories and venue of exhibition, including sound system and seat for Opening shall be provided free of charge;
2. Participating groups are responsible for their own Opening Ceremony, reception, publication and cleaning and other related charges.
3. There will be a representative at all time for the participating group during exhibition hours.
4. Unless agreed with the International Arts Gallery for sharing of profit (35% to gallery and 65% to artists), no sale of artworks will be handled by the International Arts Gallery during the exhibition.
5. An administration fee of $1,000 is charged to each group for collective media advertising, joint promotion, extra staffingof International Arts Gallery, cleaning and other incidental expenses.
Panel of Jurors:
1. There are five jurors: Professor Chang Chung Chieh, Professor Jan Walls, Professor Li Xing Jian, Mr. John Chen and Mr. John Chan. They shall separately rate all participating groups and the groups with the highest scores will be selected.
2. Criteria for selection includes: the theme, the sample, the contribution and the performance of the arts community or individuals to the arts promotion in Vancouver and other factors that each juror deems important.
3. All rating will be kept confidential in order that the juror can make independent rating.
4. The decision of the organiser shall be final.
Time Table:
1. 10th December 2017 – all applications and sample artworks will be e-mailed to info@iagbc.ca.
2. 20th December 2017 – successful applicants will be advised;
3. 25th December 2017 – signing of agreement and paying of $1,000 administration fee.
4. Subsequently, the organiser will inform all successful groups to have preparatory meetings.
