莊連東 LIEN-TUNG CHUANG
莊連東，1964年生於臺灣省彰化縣，國立臺灣師範大學美術創作理論博士。作品曾獲第十屆全國美展國畫類第三名，並曾於臺北、臺中、彰化、嘉義、台南、高雄、西班牙個展22次；著有【莊連東畫集】、【莊連東繪畫創作集-2000】、【生態美學－莊連東繪畫創作集-2004】、【圖像．演繹－2009莊連東水墨創作集】、【遠行－莊連東旅美繪畫創作記錄展專輯】、【名家100–莊連東】、【碑體．敘事．紀錄簿─2016莊連東專題創作集】等著作；曾擔任全國美展、大墩美展、磺溪美展、桃源美展、屏東美展、新莊美展、臺東美展、全國學生美展等評審委員。曾於美國伊利諾大學香檳校區訪問教授一年。現任東方彩墨學術聯盟會長、國立臺灣師範大學美術系專任教授兼系主任，國立臺中教育大學美術學系兼任教授。現任國立台灣師範大學美術學系，專任教授兼系主任。

Current position: Serving as professor and chairman in the department of fine arts in National Taiwan Normal University and National Taichung University of Education; president of Academic Federation of Oriental Tsai-Mo.
