LEE, JEANNIE 劉志文

Jeannie Lee has painted since her early teens, originally studying art under Mr. Leung Shik Feng in Hong Kong. After moving to Canada, Lee graduated from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada and started her working career in Vancouver.

In the late 1990s, she resumed her interest in the arts, studying Chinese painting under the esteemed Sheila Zhao and Lingnan School artists: Poon Sook Chun, and Ping Ma.  Over the years, Lee’s paintings have been exhibited in Vancouver, Toronto, Shanghai, Macao and New York.  Her work can be found in private collections in Canada, China and United States. In 2014, Jeannie won the bronze medal in the “Canada Chinese Art Bridge competition”.
