2017 is the Year of 150th Anniversary of the Establishment of Canada as a Nation
The International Arts Gallery, and Federation of Canadian Artists, will be teaming together to host the “Beautiful Canada” – National Crossing Boundaries Arts Exhibition 2017 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Establishment of Canada as a Nation.
Objectives of this event include celebration of the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Canada as a nation; fostering promotion of crossing boundaries exchange between Western and Chinese art in Canada as well as developing the appreciation, understanding and exchanges in arts and cultures between different ethnic groups in Canada.
This Crossing Boundaries Arts Exhibition will showcase total of 150 exhibits, with artists from as many ethnic communities as the color of the multi-cultural fabric of Canada can represent. 75 exhibits by Federation of Canadian artists and another 75 by artists of International Arts Gallery. Exhibitions will be held at both galleries.”
