BETTY HUNG 曾美貞
Betty Hung started her painting journey in the 90’s, she took lessons from different masters in Vancouver including Mr. Nigel Szeto and Mr. James Tan. With different styles of expression, her inspiration for her creativity come from nature. Her works are usually not only expressing the image and also emotions.
She joined several painting art organizations during these years, had been the director of Chinese Canadian Artists Federation in Vancouver, and now is the director of CAAC Vancouver. She participated in demonstrations of Chinese brush painting at International Gallery and different art lectures, now teaching at Chinese water colour painting at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. in Vancouver.
Her work “Hanging out on Pine tree” is selected by Regional Art Council in Vancouver Island, currently displaying in Comox Valley Airport.
