郭杭建 国家一级美术师 高级工艺美术师
1957年生于浙江杭州。
1981年起分别就读于“杭州工艺美术学校及浙江美术学院”。
2007年起，先后担任“中国书画家协会”常务理事、“中国画创作研究院”副秘书长及文化部核心艺术期刊“中国书画家”、“中国民族博览” 、“中国民族书画”编委, “中国当代诗书画研究”编委、艺术总监， “中国恒丰艺术” 编委，杭州市工艺美术行业专家组专家等多项职务。
2013年起，受聘分别担任杭师大工艺美术研究院教授、浙江理工大艺术研究院教授及加拿大＂大江东去＂艺术期刊总编等职。
2014年起，经评审，获“国家一级美术师“及＂高级工艺美术师＂职称。
从艺五十余年来，艺术业绩概略如下； 20岁起即连续参展、获奖并发表各类作品约500余件次，获特别奖、金、银、铜奖作品40余件，各类艺术机构及国家级博物馆馆藏作品80余件，参加各类义卖、捐赠作品20余件次，获艺术专题报导、刊载10余次。
期间；较为突出的艺术成果为
1987年，创作《杭州西湖十景》被中国邮政制作为名信片全国发行。
2006年起，创作《秦观问月》、《牧笛唱晚》等作品多件，代表中国艺术家连续十余年入选日本＂国际墨画会＂国际大展。
2011年，创作《春山牧童》《春山无人云崖起》作品二件，做为国家最高礼遇入选“中国名家书画神洲太空之旅＂搭载神舟9号飞船进入太空。
2013年起，应文化部及中央机关邀请，先后为文化部、中宣部、中南海、总后机关等中央各级领导同志办公室作画二十余件，其间为习近平主席会客厅创作巨幅国画《指点江山》并为中共中央党校宴会厅创作《大江东去》《秦川渭水》等巨幅国画作品多件。
2014年起，专项研发＂剑走偏锋之琢篆艺术＂并获重大突破，先后在三次个人画展中出展＂琢篆＂作品原件百余件。
2015年，应邀为习近平主席寓所＂绿扬宾舍＂绘制大幅国画《万里江山万里云》、《松龄鹤寿 月明风清》、《秋山论古 天下英雄》作品三件。
2016年，以篆刻手法融入紫砂艺术的刋制，应邀为习近平主席寓所＂绿扬宾舍＂刻制《秋塘访友》、《轻影摇风》等紫砂艺术立盘十件。
2017年，为庆祝香港回归二十周年，创作国画《秦川古道》代表加拿大华人艺术家入选＂全球水墨画大展＂并荣获＂全球500水墨精英＂雅号。
另有《郭杭建画集》、《郭杭建书画作品选》、《中国民俗工艺专集》等论文、著作多种。
Mr. Hang-Jian GUO, a famous Chinese painter, was born in 1957 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. He studied at the Hangzhou Arts School and Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. He currently serves as a professor of Arts Academy in Hangzhou University, and an art journal editor and so on.
Since 1976, his artworks have participated in various domestic and international art exhibition. He has won more than 90 awards and created more than 400 art pieces. He had eight personal exhibitions, donated more than 80 pieces of artworks to National Museum in China. He has published many articles and books including “Guo Hang-Jian Paintings” and “Chinese Folk Crafts Album”.
He is the winner of the Silver Award of the Chinese Painting Category at the 1st Canada Chinese Arts Bridge Art Competition 2014.
