羅芳 LO FONG
1937年生於湖南長沙，自幼在書香世家成長，畢業於國立台灣師範大學美術系，於教育崗位上耕耘長達四十年，育才無數。早年受到黃君璧、溥心畬、廖繼春等影響，行腳紀實，不限材質創作繪畫，畫風氣勢渾厚。為對藝術內涵的深入探索，曾多次赴美進修，在東西方文化的撞擊下，將技法與理念融入現代水墨畫中，造就符合時代精神的多層次畫風。
Fong Lo was Born in 1937 to a family deeply engaged in art and culture in Changsha, Hunan province, Fong graduated from the National Taiwan Normal University art program in 1961. In the early part of her colorful career she was heavily influenced by the great masters such as Jun-Bi Huang, Hsin-Yu Pu, and Ji-Chun Liao. Fong’s style is not limited to traditional material
but also powerful. She has spent in past 40 years educating countless number of students in Chinese painting and calligraphy. As part of her quest to achieve artistic mastery, Fong has completed numerous study tours in the United States. She successfully combines both Eastern and Western schools of thought to create works which display the perfect balance of and modern and traditional techniques.
